Its quarterly revenue reached $102.3 billion, a 16% increase from a similar quarter last year. In addition that figure was $2.2 billion more than expected. Also, its EPS of $2.87 was $0.61 higher than what most analysts thought it would be. But the big news was Google Cloud, which had $15.2 billion in sales, a 34% increase, and a 24% operating profit. That was the division's first quarter ever with a profit, which is a big deal.
