Every broker review on InvestingCube ends in a score out of 10. This page explains what that score is made of and how to read it.
What we rate
Each broker is rated from 0 to 10 in five areas:
- Fees – [what is compared: spreads, commissions, swaps, non-trading fees]
- Platforms – [which platforms and tools are assessed, and how]
- Safety / Trust – [regulators, client fund protection, track record]
- Research – [market analysis, education, data]
- Support – [channels, languages, response times, how it is tested]
How the overall score is calculated
The overall editorial score is the average of the five area ratings, rounded to one decimal place. [Confirm: an editor can also set the overall score directly. If that is ever done, say when and why.]
Who reviews and how often
Each review names the analyst who wrote it and shows the date it was last updated. [How brokers are tested: live or demo accounts, data sources, how often reviews are revisited.]
How we make money
“Visit Broker” buttons are sponsored links and are marked as such. [State whether commercial relationships can affect scores.] See our Editorial Policy and Monetization Disclosure.
