BitTorrent overview The story of BitTorrent Token starts with the purchase of the BitTorrent platform during the summer of 2018 by Justin Sun, the founder of Tron Foundation. The BitTorrent Token was launched in January 2019 by BitTorrent Inc as a Tron TRC-10 cryptocurrency. The massive userbase of BitTorrent gave the cryptocurrency a leg-up during the launch. As a result, the BTT network could amass millions of users within a very short time. The Token was also used to pay users who kept their torrents and files seeding to encourage them to continue keeping their files on BitTorrent. In return, the BitTorrent platform speeds improved as more users started to seed their files. There were also talks of introducing a decentralized governance feature on BTFS in quarter two of 2022. This plan is still in motion, and by its looks, BitTorrent users should expect the launch of the BTFS governance token by the end of the year. BitTorrent Adoption BitTorrent was already a huge platform before getting into the cryptocurrency industry. Therefore, it already had a lot of applications and adoption. However, its entrance to the cryptocurrency industry seems to have given the cryptocurrency even more power and usability among many platforms. Some of its adoptions now include the original BitTorrent client that allows content creators to connect with their audience and earn and spend digital currency without middlemen. There is also the uTorrent client, which is software used for P2P file transfers. This will be a 440 return on investment based on the current prices, a price close to the return on investment during the trading period of 2021, where the prices rose by 500 percent. BitTorrent Daily Chart BitTorent Price Prediction 2025 My BitTorrent price prediction for 2025 is aggressively bullish, and I expect the prices to be trading at around $0.3 by 2025. This analysis is based on previous years' price action, where BitTorrent has shown a growth of 500 percent per year in 2021 and a predicted 430 percent annual growth in 2022. My 2025 BitTorrent price prediction of $0.3 follows the same annual growth of 500 percent per year. Is BitTorrent a good investment? Based on my 2022 and 2025 BitTorrent price prediction, BitTorrent will have a return on investment of between 400 to 500 between now and 2025. This is significantly higher than the less than 20 percent annual growth rate most traditional financial institutions offer their clients. Therefore, based on these analyses, BitTorrent is a perfect investment for long-term traders.
