P2E Game, Splinterlands, Soars As it Hits 2 Billion Games Mark

Blockchain P2E game, Splinterlands, has hit another significant milestone after reaching 2 billion games played. Also, the game’s creators have revealed that it sold millions of cards during the $1 million unboxing event held on March 17th. NicoThePico and Splinterlands’ Bulldog led the unboxing of the packs. The amount came from the sale of Chaos Legion Packs in an event that Side Door Ventures and Balthazar led. Also, the event created 3,000 Balthazar scholarship awards. Furthermore, 1 BCX gold foil cards were put up for grabs via a live lottery.

The 2 billion games mark is a significant milestone. It points to not only the immense growth by Splinterlands but is also a strong indicator of its dominance of this segment. Therefore, players should expect more earning opportunities from the Splinterlands metaverse in the future.

“Achieving 2 billion games played is a remarkable milestone for Splinterlands and the industry as a whole. We’re thrilled to be a part of their success,” stated Aly, the Blockchain Founders Fund Managing Partner.

Following the unboxing event, Splinterlands CEO, Jesse Reich, revealed that the company had opened an NFT management program. Consequently, NFT holders on the Splinterlands metaverse will be able to earn returns from their assets. That is a unique product that is likely to attract more users to the platform.
