In the central bank calendar we have speeches by FOMC Member Evans at 12:00GMT, while Fed Governor Brainard and FOMC Member George will speak at 14:00GMT.
Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ), left its Official Cash Rate unchanged at 1.00% as markets expected.
The Japan BoJ Core CPI for Augustcame in at 0.4% y/y below expectations of 0.6%.
Asian indices are trading lower today, Nikkei is 0.40% lower at 22,006, the Hang Seng gives up 1.22% at 25,960. EURUSD trades 0.17% lower at 1.1001; the USDJPY is 0.26% higher at 107.32 while the AUDUSD is 0.29% lower at 0.6781.
