Fantom Integrates Oraichain’s Verifiable Random Function Services

Oracle’s AI Layer 1, Oraichain, has added its Verifiable Random Function services to Fantom’s platform. Consequently, I t is now possible for Fantom-ecosystem dApp developers to provide expanded DeFi, NFT, and other capabilities for dApps. If you want to build DeFi, NFT, or gaming apps that are both highly scalable and cost-effective, you need Orachain. It provides the infrastructure that Fantom developers want. This will promote fairness, enable validation of rare assets and stimulate competition.

Oraichain, the brainchild of Dr. Chung Dao, is on a quest to bridge the gap between artificial intelligence (AI) and distributed ledger technology (blockchain). For example, the Oraichain platform combines and integrates Artificial Intelligence APIs to smart contracts and conventional apps.

What benefits does it bring?

Oraichain VRF 2.0 is on a mission to solve the constraints of random number generators that use on-chain data. Often, malicious miners can exploit the vulnerabilities of these generators. Essentially, API-generated random values do not guarantee the integrity of the data. Oraichain VRF 2.0 generates completely random values and verifies their group signature on the blockchain. External entities, such as dApp developers, node operators, and oracles, are unable to tamper with the process as a result.

Developers on Fantom can look forward to a number of advantages:

  • Newly minted tokens with rare NFT qualities can be assigned unique attributes
  • Developing unpredictable in-game scenarios and match-making engines for video games
  • Distributing limited-edition assets.
  • Random choosing of airdrop winners by a random selection of liquidity provider pools.
  • Making crucial decisions based on the random selection of network validators or DAO participants

“With Oraichain VRF, Fantom developers can access the necessary infrastructure to quickly develop highly scalable and cost-efficient DeFi, NFT, and gaming products augmented by publicly verifiable randomness,” said Duc. M Tran, Head of Community Relations at Oraichain, in a statement.

Oraichain VRF is a plug-and-play utility with a streamlined verification procedure comes ready for use. It comes with a built-in block explorer, and it is built directly on top of the Oraichain mainnet 2.0 Layer 1 infrastructure. This makes it possible for anyone to run a VRF output verification query against the blockchain. Consequently, developers will like how easy it is to work with the system.
