LOST.NFT and Lost World’s geoNFT niche

Geofencing NFTs to specific locations, as designed by Lost Worlds, enables novel and engaging ways of interacting with digital assets. The company is working on a location-based nft minting system in the hopes of creating an experience similar to Pokemon Go for NFTs.

Lost Worlds has teamed up with industry heavyweights in the NFT ecosystem to showcase the vast potential this technology opens up. Twenty-three of the most well-known artists in the world have agreed to release their first geoNFT collections on the Ethereum blockchain in collaboration with Lost Worlds. The artists have had auctions and exhibitions of their work at renowned venues like Sotheby’s.

The Web 3 lifestyle app STEPN integrates geoNFTs from Lost World to provide meaningful in-person interactions with digital content. Throughout Central Park and other NFT.NYC running hotspots, STEPN will distribute geoNFTs in the form of a scavenger hunt.

DeGods and Y00Ts developer DeLabs is using the Lost Worlds platform as part of its DeNYC event. The event features a landmark tour, and treasure hunt with over $100k in redeemable prizes. The geoNFTs quest requires participants to locate and collect five different city landmarks. In the Polygon blockchain, 500 mintable geoNFTs will be available for each location. The event will feature five popular locations, including Grand Central, the Empire State Building, Bellevue Psychiatric Hospital, Central Park, and the Brooklyn Bridge.

There will be multiple geoNFT scavenger hunts held at Lost Worlds throughout NFT.NYC. Those who are successful in collecting geoNFTs from NYC hotspots will be awarded a non-tradeable NFT Badge that gives them entry to exclusive VIP-only events and additional NFT drops.
