IC Markets, a leading forex and CFD broker, launched a new marketing campaign as it seeks to grow its market share globally.
In a statement, the company said that the new marketing campaign will run in 10 countries. The advert was created by Silver Bullet, a South African creative agency. Inspired by Top Gun, the ad encourages traders to ‘trade up’ and experience the superior benefits of using IC Markets. In a statement, the firm’s CEO said:
“Top Gun is an iconic film and is fundamentally about using skill and the right tools to harness potential and to achieve goals. We know our traders come to IC Markets because they are drawn to the features and benefits we offer that will help take their trading to the next level.”
The firm unveiled the advert at the Rugby World Cup Sevens tournament held in South Africa. Its goal is is to increase its popularity among traders at a time when most companies in the sector are struggling amid a downturn in the financial sector.
