Exotic Markets Secures $5 Million in Funding to Expand Its Product Range

DeFi market specialist firm, Exotic Markets has attracted $5 million in investment from a group of venture capitalists and other investors. Key among them are Multicoin and Ascensive Assets, both of whom are lead investors.  Additionally, they have onboarded Animoca Brands, Morningstar, and Solana Capital TPS among other investors.

Exotic Markets is concentrating on expanding the number of structured products available in DeFi. To achieve this, it is leveraging the Solana blockchain. Decentralized finance (DeFi) continues to attract more investors. It is likely to grow further as protocols bring new products and services that cater to a broader demographic.

Due to the network’s speed, reliability, and cheaper fees, Solana has fast become a go-to site for DeFi protocols, products, and services.

The latest round of funding is geared towards enabling Exotic Markets to innovate with new products. The company is particularly keen on offering products never before seen across decentralized platforms.  “We have a long-term vision for the market and focus on supporting projects that offer sustainable value”, said  Ascensive Assets’ Managing Partner Oliver Blakey.

Structured products will open up opportunities for investors to generate yield denominated in stablecoin rather than governance tokens. We view this as a very healthy evolution of the DeFi space.”

Multicoin Capital Investor, Spencer Applebaum expressed his excitement following the firm’s investment in Exotic Markets. In addition, he expressed confidence in the move, stating that it will enable Multicoin to leverage Exotic market’s infrastructure. He hopes that Multicoin will benefit from a richer product portfolio and greater exposure to the crypto market

About Exotic Markets

Exotic Markets is a wealth management company that offers opportunities on the crypto market. Its operational architecture is built on the Solana blockchain. It has built on the traditional bank wealth management architecture and customized it to meet the needs of the DeFi market. Consequently, it has packaged itself as the go-to place for crypto-based wealth creation through its high-yield products.

Unlike any other DeFi initiatives now on the market, the company has an outstanding architecture that sets it apart. In addition, it allows single product offerings, such as digitals assets and path-dependent products. Its asset groups are periodically tweaked depending on how well they perform.

The development of the Exotic Markets protocol is led by Joffrey Dalet. For nine years, Joffrey traded volatility products and managed a hedge fund specializing in quant volatility. He has teamed up with Benjamin Rameau, who has extensive experience in equities sales, trading, and blockchain technology. Together, they have helped develop this new approach to structured products.
