Binance Earn Products Now Available to Qualifying UK Professional Users

Summary:
  • The change follows developments in UK regulation confirming that staking is exempt from classification as a collective investment scheme.

Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, has announced the added access to its Binance Earn suite for qualifying UK Professional Users, following regulatory clarification that removes previous restrictions on certain yield and lending products.

The change follows developments in UK regulation confirming that staking is exempt from classification as a collective investment scheme, and a review of how certain exemptions under the Financial Promotions Order and Promotion of Collective Investment Scheme Order apply. This allows Binance to again offer products including Simple Earn (Flexible and Locked), Liquid Staking (WBETH and BNSOL), Crypto Loans, RWUSD, Super Earn, On-Chain Yields, and Soft Staking to eligible high-net-worth companies, investment professionals, and other exempt categories.

Professional investors in the UK have been asking for access to our Earn products, and we are excited that today we can deliver that in full compliance with local regulations,” said a Binance spokesperson. “These are sophisticated clients who understand the asset class and want innovative, flexible tools to grow and manage their crypto portfolios.

Staking Demand Soars Among Professional Investors
Staking has rapidly become a preferred strategy for professional investors. Unlike lending, staking keeps assets within the blockchain protocol, offering competitive yields while helping to secure the network. It also gives participants governance rights, enabling them to influence key protocol decisions.

Staking is unique because it’s not just about returns,” explained the Binance spokesperson. “It’s about alignment. Professional investors see it as a way to actively contribute to the long-term success of the networks they believe in, while earning yields that often outperform traditional fixed-income products.

With global interest rates easing, staking yields — sometimes reaching up to 10% annually — are increasingly attractive to investors seeking stable, long-term income without constant active trading.

Binance’s Global Leadership in Earn Products
Binance is a market leader in staking and yield offerings worldwide. Its Ethereum liquid staking token, WBETH, now holds a 20% share of the liquid staking market, representing over $9 billion in value. Circulating supply has grown 18% in the past month — the fastest growth among major providers.

Similarly, with around $1B in TVL and 150,000+ Earn users, BNSOL, Binance’s in-house Solana liquid staking token, is the second-largest SOL LST globally. Integrated across major Binance products — including Spot, Convert, Auto-Invest, Margin, Earn, Loans, Fiat, Wallet, API — and over 20 external protocols, it is a core part of Binance’s ecosystem.

Binance has unmatched reach and infrastructure,” said the Binance spokesperson. “We’re the largest centralised exchange globally for both spot and perpetual markets, and our ecosystem lets clients stake, trade, borrow, lend, and manage capital seamlessly in one place. That’s why professional users trust us with over 90% of WBETH’s supply.

With this update, Binance is reaffirming its commitment to serving the UK’s most sophisticated investors with institutional-grade products, robust security, and the industry’s broadest earning opportunities. “This is more than just reopening access,” Binance spokesperson concluded. “It’s about giving the UK’s professional investors the tools they need to lead in the next chapter of the crypto economy.
