BRS Media Announces Domain and Emoji NFTs

BRS Media, a media e-commerce company that helps traditional and interactive media companies in leveraging the Internet for growth and branding, has today announced that dotFM, the.FM TLD Registry has launched both Domain and Emoji NFTs.  In line with this, dotFM has released hundreds of premium and emoji domains for sale in the form of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs).

What’s special about emoji and domain NFTs

This move to launch these domains heralds an important milestone in the development of digital property rights and expression. Domain NFTs are special URLs that can be used as either a cryptocurrency wallet address or a regular web address. With the NFTs for Domain Names and emojis are provided by .FM TLD, anyone can buy and own a custom domain name that speaks to their business, personal hobbies, or brand.

With the introduction of Domain and Emoji NFTs, dotFM hopes to broaden its appeal to consumers and businesses in emerging markets outside the audio, music, and podcasting industries. On the other hand, BRS Media is eager to join the NFT revolution since they see it as the future of online identity and branding. With these NFTs, people can finally have full control over their digital identities.

“We are thrilled to offer Domain and Emoji NFTs. dotFM has always been at the forefront of innovation and creativity in the domain industry,” remarked George T. Bundy, Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BRS Media, Inc.

The.FM TLD is proposing a new way to own and exhibit one’s unique digital assets in response to the rising demand for digital collectibles and NFTs. While the NFT market is significantly down from the highs of 2021, they have proven their use cases and the upward momentum is evidently on the rise. DotFM has already set up a marketplace where customers can shop for and register new domain name transfers.
