The largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world, Binance, has unveiled FC Shakhtar Fanverse, a new fan engagement program for FC Shakhtar, one of the biggest football teams in the Ukrainian Premier League. Binance Web3 Services (BWS), a dedicated Web3 division of Binance, is the launch pad for the program. As a result of this collaboration, fans will have the opportunity to take part in polls and challenges to predict the outcome of upcoming matches, receive advance notice of NFT drops, and win unique prizes like meet-and-greets with FC Shakhtar players and signed club gear.
Binance Web3 Services and FC Shakhtar Fanverse
With the launch of Binance Web3 Services (BWS), the company is making it easier for businesses and brands to transition from Web2 to Web3. The debut of FC Shakhtar Fanverse on the platform represents the first official partnership of its kind by BWS. Web3 business plans, NFT/fan token strategies, gaming/metaverse collaborations, membership systems, operational advice, and more are all part of BWS’s consulting services.
The goal of the FC Shakhtar Fanverse is to facilitate global connections amongst football fans via Web3. In the future, the Binance NFT marketplace will include FC Shakhtar-branded NFTs. The NFTs will give fans early access to matchday tickets, in-game utilities, and exciting new metaverse options.
