Sui Foundation in partnership with Mysten Labs, have announced the Sui Basecamp, an inaugural global conference honouring the Sui ecosystem and the innovators and entrepreneurs who are making it a reality. The event is sleted for April 10th and 11th, 2024, in Paris, and will be a gathering of captains, visionaries and enthusiasts in the web3 ecosystem as a whole.
What happens at the Sui Basecamp?
At Paris Blockchain Week, members of the web3 community will gather to interact with partners and builders from around the globe. Leading figures from within and outside of Sui will be announced in the following weeks and they will give keynote talks on both days. The topics of discussion will cover a broad spectrum, including macro commentary on the industry, economics, cryptography, regulation, and the Move programming language, among many others.
As a step-function breakthrough in blockchain, Sui provides a foundation for developers and designers to build outstanding user-friendly experiences. The blockchain’s initial contributors were part of core group of developers behind Meta’s blockchain project Diem.
The Sui Basecamp will take place about a year after Sui’s Mainnet went live. It will be a celebratory occasion commemorating the immense growth and success of Sui’s ecosystem and partners. Like-minded individuals will come together to create the future of decentralised technologies like NFTs and DeFi at this event. Keynote speakers will provide insightful commentary, and there will be interactive workshops, networking opportunities will be available, and immersive activations to engage and entertain attendees.
You can buy your tickets now through March 1 for the early bird pricing of $99 USD. From March 2–31, tickets will be available at a discounted price of $149 USD. Thereafter, from April 1–to the day of the event, the price will go up to $299 USD.
