In North America forex calendar the NY Fed Empire State Manufacturing Index due at 12:30GMT.

In Asian trading session, Japan Industrial Production (YoY) came in at -4.7% in line with forecasts for August. The Australian weekly consumer confidence came in at 110.9 previous reading was at 112.3.
Asian indices are trading higher today; Nikkei is 1.90% higher at 22,212, Hang Seng is 0.26% lower at 26,453. EURUSD trades 0.06% higher at 1.1032; the USDJPY is 0.06% lower at 108.33 while the AUDUSD is 0.01% lower at 0.6775.
