Raz Friedman Joins MonkeyLeague as Chief Product Officer.

MonkeyLeague has made steps in the right direction in its pursuit of developing the first esports-focused metaverse. MonkeyLeague has appointed Raz Friedman, NASDAQ-traded Playtika’s CPO and their former first employee, as their Chief Product Officer. Friedman is responsible for building a great AAA gaming experience and preserving a sustainable web3 gaming experience in the play2earn and free2earn economy.

Friedman was a pioneer in developing mass-market games for mobile and Facebook and setting a foundation for a freemium model, which is the anchor of the MonkeyLeague economy. The development and design of MonkeyLeague and future studio titles will be spearheaded by Playtika gaming titan, making MonkeyLeague a web3 powerhouse. Friedman brings two decades of development experience and game design. He joined Playtika over ten years ago as their first employee. He led their game development with titles like Bingo Blitz, Slotomania, WSOP Poker and Grand Harvest Solitaire, among many others.

Before becoming CPO, Friedman had an affiliation with MonkeyLeague and is listed as a co-founder. However, he has decided to entirely focus on the project’s development because he believes in the future of gaming. Friedman will oversee the development of brands and other esports games in the Monkey Leauge brand.

MonkeyLeague’s ultimate goal is to create a massive web3 ecosystem that offers a wide array of roles to players, who will have multiple ways of engaging with the game and earning from their efforts. The project does not just target experienced gamers but is looking to transform everyday players into stars in the competitive esports arena. MonkeyLeague was the first project to launch both passive and active gameplay on a massive scale, allowing users to compete via matchplay, owning stadiums and land, and managing teams and scouting for players.

The MonkeyLeague team has over 100 years of combined game development experience and will be led by Friedman. In addition, the project’s community already has almost 300,000 members, which confirms that there is significant interest in the soon to be released metaverse game. All these factors will help the company roll out its high entertainment play-AND-earn gaming environment with a high production value compared to the traditional web3 play-to-win, play-to-earn games. As more people embrace web3 gaming, more games are now focusing on the earning aspect of the games while ignoring the entertainment and production value and the mechanics, among other crucial aspects that MonkeyLeague has embraced.
